Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is a strange beast. In six hours, stand-alone prequel to Wolfenstein excellent 2014: The New Order, it puts us in a grinder of tense shootouts, exciting and memorable in some really great setting. But while the New Order shined during his brightest quiet moments of exploration and character development, the old blood never really gives you time to catch your breath during its descent to the zombie-filled strangeness . That pace makes it a lot of fun, but not as attentive as its predecessor
